Solaro has a highly reflective quality and an open structure ideal for ventilation. But unlike natural cloud cover, it can be put to use whenever it’s needed. This makes it ideal for shading in hot climates or simply to manage more sensitive plants.
Healthier plants and accelerated production – this is the result of Harmony’s gentle approach to managing sunlight. Its white strips simply scatter sunlight more effectively. To further improve cooling, many Harmony screens have an open structure.
Tempa uses aluminum strips in a closed structure to bring the greatest energy savings of all. But it also doubles as an effective shading screen when needed. This dual functionality makes it ideal as a single screen solution or where needs are often changing.

Luxous lets the most daylight reach the crop while saving energy and improving the greenhouse climate. Its translucent strips and closed structure are effective when in use, but also when not in use – as bundle sizes are unusually small.
Double layered Obscura screens provide the total blackout needed to manage plants that need a shorter day than daylight hours allow. Single layer Obscura is used with supplemental lighting for plants that need additional light. Eliminate air stratification, reduce condensation, and eliminate hot and cold spots effectively and economically with American Coolair’s Type BK fans. These fans feature aluminum propellers directly mounted to totally enclosed motors, and encased in coated steel wire guards that comply with OSHA standards. Each BK fan comes with a rafter hanging kit designed to easily mount to a “2-by” wooden beam or up to 2-1/8” metal tubing as standard. Wall and ceiling mounting brackets, as well as chain kits, are also available to install the fans virtually anywhere in the building.In greenhouses, proper air circulation helps plants grow better by increasing the amount of CO2 at the plant level and reducing condensation on plant surfaces, reducing the risk of disease.In chicken or other livestock houses, proper air circulation provides even cooling and reduces livestock stress levels.In general, the amount of horizontal airflow needed is 2½ to 3 CFM per square foot of floor space. Automatic Shutters for Use with Wall Exhaust Fans. NOTE: Shutter should be mounted no closer than 5” to fan blades. Mounting the shutter closer than 5” to fan blades will result in reduced performance and shorter fan and shutter life.

All Aluminum Shutter. The LRW Shutter is an all aluminum damper featuring an extruded aluminum frame with interlocking aluminum blades for maximum weather seal. Double panel shutters (LRW45 and larger) are constructed with a rigid ‘T’ section center member to prevent shutter blades from sticking. The LRW Shutter has nylon bearings on all movable linkage. A sturdy, extruded aluminum tiebar is connected exactly on the blade centers. Double panel shutters feature dual tie-bars (one for each panel). The LRW Shutter can be gravity or motor operated. Standard Features: Aluminum blades, extruded aluminum frame, aluminum blade brackets and tie bars, blades pivot on nylon bushings.

The LRW-E Air Inlet Shutter is designed to allow fresh air to enter the greenhouse as the fans at the opposite side/end of the building exhaust it. The LRW-E features a sturdy aluminum frame, aluminum blades, aluminum reinforcing brackets and nylon bearings on all movable linkage. The LRW-E Air Inlet shutter is fully automatic and comes standard with a motor to automatically open and close the shutter blades.Standard Features: Aluminum blades, extruded aluminum frame, aluminum blade brackets and tie bars, blades pivot on nylon bushings, heavy duty gear motor and chain linkage.

Evaporative Cooling Pads
The Doublestack Evap Pad Cooling System features the Open Top distribution system, and is available in system heights from 7’ to 12’. The Doublestack System includes rigid pad supports that completely bear the weight of the upper Evap Pads, keeping them securely in place. This prevents the weight of the upper pads from causing the lower pads to sag. ‘Modular’ Doublestack systems are available in lengths up to 60’ and come standard with a PVC water return trough and PVC sump. ‘Tank’ systems are available from 50’ to 100’ in length and require a separate sump tank (to be purchased locally).
Completely self contained with a PVC trough and sump tank. Available in Standard Top (system includes pipe cover/spray deflector) or Open Top (for easy access to distribution pipe).
Extruded aluminum trough requires a separate tank supplied by others. Available in standard top only.
